We are sorry to announce that current state champion Rasul Nazriev will not be able to attend the Closed tournament to defend his title. He will be missed, and we hope he returns to the tournament circuit next season.
The good news is that his replacement at the Closed will be Richard Hobbs, an excellent and experienced player who has competed for state champion before and who qualified this year as an alternate in case of an unexpected absence.
