Montana Scholastic Coordinator
After many years of service as our scholastic coordinator, Eric Walthall is stepping down from the role due to other commitments. During his time as coordinator Eric dramatically increased Montana kids participation in the national scholastic invitationals and introduced the annual Montana Scholastic Championship Tournaments. Thanks to Eric for all his contributions to scholastic chess in Montana !
The good news is Eric will still be involved – focusing on the Missoula area.
Please welcome Jim Hamilton (Bozeman) as our new scholastic coordinator. Jim will be talking to people around the state and you can meet him in person at many of the tournaments in Montana.
