USCF has changed the format & data of the cross tables we use to generate the Grand Prix points for each tournament. As a result, we have had to make a minor change in how we calculate the strength of field for each tournament. In order to ensure that GP points for all tournaments within the season are calculated uniformly, we have re-calculated the GP points for the Magic City tournament in September (which were originally done prior to the USCF changes). This change resulted in all GP points earned in that tournament being reduced slightly due to a lower strength of field. In addition, the Grand Prix points have been updated for the Chinook Open.
