Tournament Results

The 90th Montana Open was held in Great Falls April 12-13. While it was the smallest field since Covid there was still plenty of excitement. Chase Rands, the youngest player in the tournament, was a clear first – earning a spot in the Closed in the process. Wilton Strickland and Matteo Nero continued their battle for the Grand Prix title, finishing tied for second and earning identical Grand Prix points. Wilton is the Grand Prix Champion by 0.12 points over Matteo. Both earned spots in the Closed.
Chase, Wilton & Matteo will join defending champion Ben Curtis in the Closed. Since Wilton and Matteo finished as the top 2 Grand Prix & in the top 3 of the Open the remaining 2 slots will be filled from the Grand Prix standings.
Final Grand Prix standings will be posted this week.
